Middle School

Small “family-style” groups of 8–12 students meet live every day for literature, composition, mathematics, history and science, with the same classmates all year.

These are the “feeling years.” Our middle school teachers put special care into kindness, cooperation and emotional balance, so students feel safe enough to be curious and to try hard things.

  • Daily live classes with one steady group
  • Emphasis on feeling: kindness, cooperation, emotional balance
  • Intermediate English required

Add one or several live classes to your homeschool without enrolling full-time. Weekly 1-on-1 advising is available on its own as well.

Enrolled through a U.S. homeschool charter? We are working toward approved-vendor status with charters across the country. If yours doesn’t list us yet, tell us which charter and we’ll ask to be added.

Questions about cost and fit

What if we can’t afford full tuition?

Because economic conditions differ so much from country to country, we work with every family to find a price that works. Tell us about your situation when you inquire; financial aid is arranged after acceptance.

Does my child need to speak English well?

All classes are taught in English. Middle school requires intermediate English; high school students should be comfortable in English discussion. If you’re unsure, let us talk with your child.

Can homeschoolers take just one class?

Yes. Homeschool students can join individual live classes from $450 per course per semester, or add weekly 1-on-1 advising, without enrolling full-time.

What time are classes? We are not in California.

Our students live in more than 12 countries, so we schedule live classes across time zones. A full-time high school student is in live classes about 16 hours a week; exact times depend on where you live. Tell us your country and we will show you a real sample schedule.

Start with a conversation. Tell us about your child, and our director will set up a video call with you both — and a chance to sit in on a live class.
